Vulnerability does not call for being uncomfortable with the idea of being naked emotionally in front of someone…but realizing that you no longer have to worry about how you’d look if you really were naked. Vulnerability is taking that first step to trusting someone with yourself. Being vulnerable is, knowing that you have a safe spot to land if you ever decided to fall backwards. Knowing that you’ll have a hiding place to bury your face and soak up the tears if they ever came and also a face that will light up when you smile after.
